As the Security Officer, you will support the Head of IT Security in performing AP-wide enterprise level technical analysis, design, and monitoring of security control operations and performance covering IT networks, systems and assets to contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with the AP Information Security Team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Head of IT Security in performing AP-wide enterprise level technical analysis, design, and monitoring of security control operations and performance covering IT networks, systems and assets. Coordinates with all AP business units all security related activities.
- Performs regular hygiene checks of IT networks, systems and assets and monitors and ensures effective security controls of the same. Generates regular reports on the performance of the security operations.
- Performs regular vulnerability assessment for IT and OT networks, systems and assets and monitors and ensures timely remediation of the same. Generates regular reports on the performance of the security operations.
- Leads or coordinates with AP business units the implementation of projects or activities intended for these business units to comply with the various requirements of ISMS, NIST cybersecurity framework or other standards/frameworks being adopted or followed.
- Monitors compliance and ensures alignment of AP business units to the established security guidelines and standards considering the security frameworks, models or architectures being adopted or followed.
Qualifications
- Knowledge in Information Security solutions such as Endpoint Detection Response, Web Application Firewall, Intrusion Prevention System, Identity and Access Management etc.
- Experience with contract and vendor negotiations and management.
- Knowledge in Vulnerability Management Process.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a technology-related field.
- Professional: Minimum of 6 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT network
- Having cybersecurity certification/s is an advantage
