Job summary

Tastewell Food Group Inc. is seeking a store associate to manage cash flow, supervise in the supervisor’s absence, and engage with customers to meet their needs in a busy Pasay location.

The role includes securing all cash, maintaining a clean counter area, coordinating with kitchen staff, and ensuring equipment and displays are in optimal condition.

Responsibilities

• Assists the supervisor in maintaining orderliness and cleanliness of the store counter.
• Assumes supervisory duties in the absence of the store supervisor.
• Relates to customers and attends to their needs.
• Coordinates with kitchen staff for food orders and display of food items.
• Ensures counter equipment including cash register, POS, money detector, vault, cash boxes, signage, LED menus, CCTV are in good working condition.
• Cleans beverage dispensing equipment and ensures drinks are available; daily cleaning of drinks station.
• Prepares an attractive selling area and food display.
• Secures all cash in the store including change fund, petty cash, and sales.
• Completes daily cash flow reports accurately and submits to the supervisor.
• Reports losses or pilferages to the Area Manager for action.

About the role

Manages the cash flow and disbursement in the branch assigned to him/her and ensures that all cash is accounted for at all times (change fund, petty cash and sales).

Key responsibilities

• Assists the supervisor in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the store counter (front of kitchen)
• Assumes supervisory duties in the absence of the store supervisor
• Relates to customers and attends to their needs
• Coordinates with the kitchen staff for food orders and display of food items
• Ensures that all counter equipment are in good working condition including the cash register, POS machines, money detector, vault and cash boxes, signage and LED menuboards, CCTV equipment
• Cleans beverage dispensing equipment and ensures the availability of drinks at all times; maintains daily cleaning of drinks station
• Prepares an attractive selling area and food display
• Is in charge of securing all cash in the store including cash for change (change fund), petty cash fund, and sales
• Does the daily cash flow report accurately and on time and submits this to the supervisor for checking
• Reports immediately any losses, pilferages to the Area Manager for proper action
