Job summary

Davao Tuna Grill Fastfood Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a diligent cashier and supervisor to manage cash flow, ensure accountability of change fund and petty cash, and assist the store supervisor with daily operations.

You will coordinate with kitchen staff, relate to customers, maintain front-counter cleanliness, secure all cash, prepare daily cash flow reports, and assist in inventory and sales logging while reporting to the Area Manager.

• Must have experience handling cash and basic financial records.

• Manage cash flow and disbursement at the branch, ensuring all cash is accounted for at all times.
• Assist the supervisor in maintaining orderliness and cleanliness of the store counter.
• Relate to customers and attend to their needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for food orders and display of items.
• Ensure cash register, POS, money detector, vault and cash boxes are functional.
• Prepare attractive selling area and daily food display.
• Secure cash through change fund and petty cash, and conduct cash handovers.
• Complete daily cash flow reports and submit to supervisor.

About the role

Manages the cash flow and disbursement in the branch assigned to you and ensures that all cash is accounted for at all times (change fund, petty cash and sales). Reports directly to the Branch Area Manager / Operations Area Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the supervisor in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the store counter (front of kitchen)

• Assume supervisory duties in the absence of the store supervisor

• Relate to customers and attend to their needs

• Coordinate with the kitchen staff for food orders and display of food items

• Ensure that all counter equipment are in good working condition including the cash register, POS machines, money detector, vault and cash boxes, signage and LED menuboards, CCTV equipment

• Clean beverage dispensing equipment and ensure the availability of drinks at all times; maintain daily cleaning of drinks station

• Prepare an attractive selling area and food display

• Secure all cash in the store including cash for change (change fund), petty cash fund, and sales

• Do a proper turn over of cash to reliever or supervisor during break time and whenever cash is dispensed to purchase items

• Do the daily cash flow report accurately and on time and submit this to the supervisor for checking

About you

• Keep all expense or purchase receipts and attach these to the daily cash flow report

• Submit the cash flow reports to the admin office on time

• Report immediately any losses, pilferages to the Area Manager for proper action

• Assist in preparing inventory reports

• Handle entries in the sales logbook
