Job summary

Indra Philippines, Inc. is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our ICT division on a contract basis. Based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, you will drive agile transformation and ensure successful delivery of technology projects.

Qualifications

• CSM certification or equivalent agile certification (PSMI, SAFe, or similar recognised qualifications).
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile coaching role.
• Strong understanding of the Agile Manifesto, Scrum framework, and other agile methodologies.
• Proven experience facilitating sprint ceremonies and managing agile project workflows.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure the team maintains focus and clarity on project objectives.
• Coach and mentor development teams on agile principles, practices, and methodologies to promote a high-performing culture.
• Identify, escape, and work to resolve impediments that block the team's progress or hinder sprint objectives.
• Protect the team from external distractions and interruptions to maintain focus on sprint commitments.
• Work closely with Product Owners to ensure user stories are well-defined, prioritised, and ready for implementation.
• Monitor and report on project metrics, sprint velocity, burndown charts, and other key performance indicators to stakeholders.
• Champion agile practices and continuous improvement initiatives across the team and organisation.
• Facilitate effective communication between cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
• Support capacity planning and resource allocation to optimise team productivity and project timelines.

About the role

Indra Philippines, Inc. is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. This is a pivotal role within our Information and Communication Technology division, specifically within our Programme and Project Management function. Based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila, you will play a crucial part in driving agile transformation and ensuring the successful delivery of our technology projects. As Scrum Master, you will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, enabling teams to work at their optimal capacity, and removing impediments that hinder progress.

What we're looking for

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification (PSMI, SAFe, or similar recognised qualifications)

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile coaching role

• Strong understanding of the Agile Manifesto, Scrum framework, and other agile methodologies

• Proven experience facilitating sprint ceremonies and managing agile project workflows

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

• Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve team impediments and blockers effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement

• Experience working in Information and Communication Technology environments or software development projects

• Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities

• Preferred: Experience with scaling frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum of Scrums in larger organisations
