Job summary

Shopee is seeking a results-driven strategic analyst to lead cross-functional projects that drive FMCG growth and operational efficiency in the Manila area.

You will develop and evaluate strategies across Marketing, Pricing, Buying, and Operations while conducting deep-dive analyses to uncover opportunities and quantify impact. Strong collaboration with stakeholders and a data-driven mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3+ years of experience in e-commerce, business analytics, financial management, or consulting, with exposure to commercial strategy.
• Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Self-starter with a strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for driving growth and impact.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce/retail business models, including pricing, promotions, assortment, and P&L dynamics.
• Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, build business cases, and quantify impact across functions.
• Experience structuring ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses, frameworks, and actionable workplans.
• Highly organized, with strong project management skills to manage multiple workstreams and timelines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (eg. Excel, SQL, or similar platforms) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead ad-hoc, cross-functional projects that support total FMCG growth and operational efficiency.
• Develop and evaluate strategies across Marketing, Pricing, Buying, Operations and other commercial functions.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify performance gaps, growth opportunities, and optimization levers.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into structured frameworks, clear hypotheses, and actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to drive alignment, timelines, and execution of initiatives.
• Track progress and impact of strategic projects, ensuring outcomes are measurable and aligned with business goals.
• Support leadership with strategic insights, business cases, and presentations for decision-making.
