Job summary

Odfjell Technology Corp. in Makati is seeking a qualified candidate for a Junior Expediter role within our logistics team.

You will extract purchase orders tagged for Expediting from the ERP system and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods. Responsibilities include following up PO confirmations, monitoring long-lead orders, and coordinating with freight forwarders for shipments, while maintaining accurate ERP data and collaborating across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in customs administration, supply chain or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years' experience in international freight forwarding and logistics.
• Knowledgeable in INCOTERMS, documentation and ERP systems.
• Strong data accuracy and organization, with cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent English communication, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Extract purchase orders from the ERP system tagged for Expediting.
• Follow up purchase orders from suppliers.
• Monitor POs with long lead times and coordinate with suppliers.
• Follow up order confirmations and confirm POs in ERP.
• Ensure delays are coordinated with Purchasers and updated in ERP.
• Coordinate with freight forwarder for pickup and shipping arrangements.
• Monitor shipment status via track-and-trace tool.
• Perform other tasks as directed by Senior Expediter.

We are looking for someone who has

• Bachelor's Degree in Customs Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• With at least two (2) years' experience in international freight forwarding & logistics.
• Knowledgeable in shipping INCOTERMS / jargons, and documentation.
• Knowledgeable in ERP related systems and related computer applications.
• Has extensive organizational skills and the ability to provide and maintain accurate data.
• Has the ability to multitask, work and collaborate in a cross-functional team.
• Has excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with customers.
• Has the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Has the ability to take initiative and action, sound judgment, problem solving and analytical skills within applicable scope, procedures and guidelines.
• Structured, accurate, systematic, analytical and committed to deliver and take account of quality output within deadline.
• Has excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible working hours.
• Motivated to facilitate and contribute to company's growth.
• Amenable to work onsite in Makati.

Your Mission

• Extract purchase orders from the ERP system that are tagged for Expediting
• Follow up purchase orders from suppliers
• Monitor purchase orders with long lead times and ensure timely coordination with the suppliers
• Follow up order confirmation and confirm PO in the ERP system
• Ensure that delays are properly coordinated with the Purchasers and updated in the ERP system
• Coordinate with freight forwarder for goods pick up from suppliers and shipping arrangement
• Monitor shipment status from online track and trace tool
• Perform other related tasks as directed by the Senior Expediter
