Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks a seasoned SAP Functional Analyst to provide 2nd level support for standard to medium complexity applications. You will ensure smooth operation of production SAP MM modules and collaborate with developers and engineers on issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Solid 5 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledgeable in Windows concepts
• Knowledgeable in UNIX/Linux concepts
• Good understanding of SAP MM Module: Purchasing, Stock Transfer and Inventory Management, Logistics Invoice Verification, MRP Run – Consumption Based
• Intermediate knowledge to perform functional analysis in SAP MM Module
• Experienced with SAP interface technology IDOC and RFC

Responsibilities

• Handle problem isolation and issue resolution for minor to medium complexity applications
• Carry out agreed maintenance tasks
• Work closely with developers and technical engineers for issue resolution
• Monitor application performance, obtain performance statistics and alert teams
• Assist in handling complex application systems in production
• Form part of the level 2 SAP support team
• Comply with level 2 support processes and procedures
• Interact with level 1 support and service management teams within the country where SAP deployed
• Analyze tickets and escalate to Level 3 when necessary
• Document TO-BE business processes aligned to SAP functionality

About the role

The SAP Functional Analyst provides the 2nd level support and primary contact for standard to medium complexity applications in production. The role also ensures continuous smooth operation of assigned production applications and fulfils ad-hoc requests.

Key responsibilities

• Handle problem isolation and issue resolution for minor to medium complexity applications

• Carry out agreed maintenance tasks

• Work closely with other teams such as developers and technical engineers for the resolution of identified issues

• Monitor application performance, obtain performance statistics and alert teams to make recommendations for improvement

• Assist in the handling of complex application systems in production

• Form part of the level 2 SAP support team

• Comply with level 2 support processes and procedures

• Interact with level 1 support and service management teams within the country where SAP has been deployed

• Analyze tickets in line with Target Operating Model configuration and recommend changes where required; escalates to Level 3 support when necessary

• Document TO-BE business process aligned to Business Target Operating Model and standard SAP application functionality

About you
