Job summary

Straive seeks a SAP Master Data Specialist based in the Philippines to manage end-to-end master data across Group Finance. You will ensure high-quality data, drive automation initiatives, and coordinate with international stakeholders.

Responsibilities include supervising team members, maintaining data objects, and supporting system upgrades while adhering to SLAs. The role requires strong governance knowledge and analytical problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in SAP Master Data Management.
• Experience with Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Business Partners (Customers/Suppliers), WBS Elements, GL Accounts, Bank Accounts and Signatories.
• Ability to communicate with international stakeholders up to management level.
• Strong and outgoing personality with excellent social skills and get-things-done.
• Strong understanding of data governance policies and procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently but also collaboratively with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition is a great advantage.

Job description

The SAP Master Data Specialist is responsible for the creation and maintenance of master

data based on input from various parties across the client company. This role requires a deep understanding of business needs, the ability to follow agreed processes and to think outside the box to propose own ideas for continuous improvements in the area of automation and Simplification of tasks. The specialist will coordinate with various stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure master data requests are completed in a timely manner, with high quality in different systems.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership and accountability for end-to-end master data handling across Group Finance in adherence to defined SLA’s.
• Supervise and guide other team members on master data topics.
• Continuously identify improvement and automation opportunities leveraging AI
• technologies and proactively initiate and lead projects or initiatives to simplify and automate tasks.
• Create and diligently maintain master data objects whilst understanding its impact
• and dependency on other systems and processes.
• Proactively review existing data, ensure consistency across entities and systems,
• and perform clean-up activities independently.
• Understand business needs and follow agreed setup/change request processes whilst being flexible to cater for ad-hoc requests very quickly.
• Apply corporate rules and processes to review requests, identify errors, remediate issues immediately and holistically.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related issues.
• Support system upgrades and enhancements.
