Job summary

Stefanini North America and APAC is seeking an SAP ERP System Lead to own the full lifecycle of SAP systems within a regulated IT environment. You will ensure compliance, drive ongoing improvements, and coordinate with global stakeholders.

The role demands hands-on SAP Basis expertise, strong documentation, and proficiency with ITIL processes. Excellent English communication and a proactive ownership mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a System Lead or in a comparable role.
• Hands-on SAP Basis skills including system installation/configuration, user/security administration, performance monitoring, backup/recovery, patching.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end SAP system lifecycle: planning, development, testing, implementation, operations, maintenance, change management, and decommissioning.
• Serve as central technical owner ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and strategies.
• Proactively identify improvements, technical debt, and risks.
• Perform and oversee system operations: logfile analysis, health checks, performance monitoring.
• Lead patching, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery testing with infra teams.
• Ensure GxP compliance, validation, and audit readiness; manage documentation.
• Engage with service owners, BI stakeholders, and vendors; coordinate cross-functional activities.
• Manage change requests within ITSM; enforce Change Control and GxP guidelines.
• Maintain system architecture docs and security policies; review access.
