Job summary

Stefanini Group is seeking a seasoned ABAP SAP Developer to join the SAP ECC support team as an Individual Contributor in a contract role. The candidate will own technical problems, deliver sustainable fixes, and ensure system stability across a complex SAP landscape.

The role requires hands-on ABAP development, IDoc management, and collaboration with Basis and infrastructure teams during migrations and upgrades. Strong debugging and performance tuning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years SAP ABAP experience in ECC support environments.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• SAP ABAP certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical resource for SAP ECC issues and incidents.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP objects across the full RICEF spectrum.
• Handle end-to-end IDoc troubleshooting and middleware coordination.
• Work with Oracle and SQL Server databases; use Open SQL and tuning.
• Coordinate with Linux/Unix infra teams for OS-level tasks.
• Manage tickets and maintain runbooks and documentation.
