Job summary

Stefanini North America and APAC is seeking a seasoned ABAP Technical Consultant to join our SAP ECC support team as an Individual Contributor. This hands-on role focuses on system stability, issue resolution, and continuous improvement across a complex SAP landscape.

The ideal candidate will manage SAP ABAP development, IDoc interfaces, and database interactions (Oracle/SQL Server) while collaborating with Basis and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of SAP ABAP experience in ECC support environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• SAP ABAP certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for SAP ECC issues, ensuring timely diagnosis and resolution of incidents, defects, and service requests.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP objects across the full RICEF spectrum.
• Debug ABAP programs using SAP Debugger and perform RCA to implement permanent fixes.
• Handle end-to-end IDoc troubleshooting and manage partner profiles and interface configurations.
• Coordinate with Basis and infrastructure teams during environment changes, patches, and upgrades.
• Participate in on-call rotations and maintain technical documentation.
