Job summary

Meralco Group is seeking an ESP Associate/Developer to act as Platform Owner for assigned enterprise SAP platforms. The role oversees RFPs, vendor bids, and solution delivery by outsourced teams, with emphasis on SAP HR and related SAP modules.

The position requires strong stakeholder engagement, governance adherence, and the ability to define and manage product roadmaps. You will coordinate with ICT and business users to translate needs into effective technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP HR (HCM) experience or SAP SuccessFactors familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFI/RFP cycles: prepare scope, evaluation criteria, and assess vendor proposals.

Role Summary

The ESP Associate/Developer serves as the Platform Owner for assigned enterprise platforms, ensuring they deliver maximum value to the business. The role manages RFPs and vendor bids, engages with business users to capture needs, and oversees solution delivery by outsourced development and analysis teams. It requires development or configuration experience in SAP HR to enable effective technical oversight, solution validation, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

RFPs, Bids & Vendor Engagement

• Lead RFI/RFP cycles: prepare scope, evaluation criteria, and assess vendor proposals.

• Participate in vendor demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and technical evaluations.

• Work with Procurement and Legal to finalize contracts, SLAs, and KPIs.

• Monitor vendor performance and ensure deliverables meet quality and compliance standards.

Product Ownership & Roadmap

• Define and communicate the priorities and strategies for assigned enterprise platforms.

• Maintain and prioritize requirements based on business impact, urgency, and technical feasibility.

• Define requirements clearly for outsourced development teams.

Business Engagement

• Act as the main ICT contact for business users of assigned enterprise platforms, ensuring requirements are understood and translated into technical solutions.

• Gather feedback on delivered features and coordinate with vendors to address issues or enhancements.

• Provide business stakeholders with updates on platform improvements, timelines, and impacts.

Delivery Oversight

• Review technical and functional designs from outsourced development teams to ensure they meet requirements and follow platform best practices.

• Validate that solutions align with platform governance, security policies, and an out-of-the-box-first approach.

• Coordinate with the testing team for user acceptance testing and ensure readiness for release.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure solutions comply with IT governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain platform documentation, decision logs, and release records.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
