Job summary

Grundfos GmbH is seeking a SAP Commerce Senior Software Developer to build and maintain scalable SAP Commerce e-commerce solutions using Java, Spring, and cloud technologies. The role involves mentoring developers and driving engineering excellence across cross-functional teams.

You will deliver highly scalable e-commerce platforms, collaborate with Group IS and business divisions, participate in design reviews, and help drive SDLC processes, with a strong focus on code quality and engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related IT field.
• Solid hands-on experience with Java and the Spring framework in a professional setting.
• Proven experience with agile software development methods and managing defined SDLC processes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud or SAP CX/CRM stack is a plus.

As our new SAP Commerce Senior Software Developer, you will be developing and maintaining scalable SAP Commerce e-commerce solutions using Java, Spring, and modern cloud technologies, while mentoring fellow developers and driving engineering excellence across cross-functional teams. What you will be doing

You’ll create impact by delivering highly scalable, reliable e-commerce platforms that empower Grundfos to serve customers and partners worldwide more effectively.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Develop high-quality, scalable e-commerce software solutions using Java and Spring within an agile delivery framework
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Group IS, Group Ecommerce, and business divisions to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
• Participate in design and code reviews to uphold code quality, architectural standards, and best practices
• Mentor junior developers, fostering skill growth and knowledge sharing across the team
• Drive continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, and engineering practices
• Work closely with Product/Project Leads and Agile Delivery Leads to ensure timely, high-quality delivery

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a skilled Java/Spring developer with a passion for e-commerce, strong collaborative instincts, and the confidence to influence technical decisions while guiding less experienced team members. We would also imagine that you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related IT field
• Solid hands‑on experience with Java and the Spring framework in a professional setting
• Proven experience working with agile software development methods and managing defined SDLC processes
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and cross‑functional stakeholders

It is a plus if you also have:

• Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud or SAP’s CX/CRM stack (CDP, CDC, Emarsys, Sales & Service Cloud)
• Knowledge of container/cluster technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP)
• Experience with microservice architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and integration of third‑party solutions (e.g., Mirakl)
