Job summary

FPT Software Philippines Corporation seeks an experienced SAP ABAP developer to design, code, and optimize solutions for SAP ECC/S4HANA, including Fiori/UI5 apps and extensions via BTP.

You will implement OData services, CDS Views, and RAP-based patterns while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role is remote with mid-shift hours for candidates nationwide in the Philippines; offices are in Paseo de Roxas area and Cebu.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 application development and OData services.
• Deep understanding of ABAP Objects, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, and IDOCs.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry, CAP, RAP, etc.).
• Proficient with CDS Views, AMDP, and ABAP RESTful Programming Model.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins), CI/CD in SAP environments.
• Solid understanding of SAP security and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality ABAP code for SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA systems.
• Develop and enhance Fiori/UI5 applications using SAP Web IDE or BAS.
• Integrate and extend SAP standard applications using BTP services (e.g., CAP, RAP, SAP Cloud Application Programming Model).
• Implement OData services, CDS Views, and annotations for Fiori/UI5 consumption.
• Participate in full lifecycle SAP projects: requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to deliver modern SAP user experiences.
• Leverage BTP services (e.g., Workflow, Business Rules, Mobile Services, API Management) to extend and integrate SAP applications.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot performance issues, and apply best practices.
• Stay up to date with SAP innovations, especially around ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP) and clean core principles.
