Job summary

A staffing agency is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer for an on-site position in Cebu City. The candidate should have at least 2 years of SAP ABAP experience, including hands-on knowledge of SAP Suite on HANA or S/4HANA. Responsibilities include coding to security standards, collaborating with technical teams, and maintaining application documentation. Ideal candidates are self-motivated and have a passion for quality delivery. This role does not allow current or former employees of Accenture to apply.

Job Title

SAP ABAP Developer – Cebu

Location: On-site in Cebu City
Shift: Shifting schedule

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of SAP ABAP experience is required
• Minimum of 6 months of hands‑on SAP Suite on HANA (SoH) or S/4HANA, or at least an SAP Upgrade experience (e.g., Unicode conversion, SPAU/SPDD, ABAP support on Basis upgrades or Functional testing)
• Experience with ABAP Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) with NW 7.5 features
• Passion for quality, on‑time delivery, customer focus, open‑minded, and self‑motivated
• Knowledge of SAP product standards, cloud qualities, coding guidelines in the development environment
• Applicant must be currently in the Philippines and have the right to live and work here
• Must not be a current or former employee of Accenture
• Should not be a job hopper (works for less than a year per company)

Responsibilities

• Follow security coding practices to ensure the application is free of common coding vulnerabilities using code reviews as further validation.
• Inform the technical architect and project manager of any issues that may impact the project.
• Participate in transitions of the application or technical architecture components to the testers.
• Fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing.
• Document the application to facilitate maintenance.
• Design, develop and configure software systems to meet market and/or client requirements across the full lifecycle (analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance, testing, delivery and maintenance).
• Perform unit/component testing.
• Participate in integration testing.
• Provide support during UAT.
• Provide support on deployment preparations.
