About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Crew member to join the maintenance and handyperson services team at Interactive Multi-Purpose Cooperative. This is a full-time position based in Tarlac, Central Luzon. As a Sanitation Crew member, you will play a vital role in maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic environments across our facilities and operational areas. Your work will directly contribute to the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees, clients, and visitors, ensuring that all spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation duties across all facility areas, including offices, common areas, restrooms, and outdoor spaces

• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, ensuring they are properly stored and maintained

• Dispose of waste materials responsibly and in accordance with environmental and health regulations

• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and areas to prevent the spread of illness and maintain hygiene standards

• Replenish cleaning supplies and sanitation products in designated areas

• Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or damage to supervisors promptly

• Follow all health and safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Work collaboratively with other crew members to ensure efficient completion of sanitation tasks

• Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and activities as required

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience in sanitation, cleaning, or maintenance services is highly desirable

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

• Knowledge of cleaning products, disinfectants, and their safe application

• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in sanitation

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive work ethic

• Willingness to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities

• Good communication skills and ability to report issues clearly

• Physical examination clearance and relevant certifications in basic sanitation or safety practices (preferred)
