About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Janitor to join the team at Interactive Multi-Purpose Cooperative. This is a full-time position based in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As a Janitor, you will play a vital role in maintaining our facilities and creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all staff, clients, and visitors. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will directly contribute to the professional image and operational efficiency of our organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Performing daily cleaning and sanitation duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of all designated areas

• Emptying and replacing waste bins and ensuring proper disposal of rubbish in accordance with health and safety regulations

• Cleaning and maintaining bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors to the highest hygiene standards

• Disinfecting high-touch surfaces and common areas to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria

• Restocking supplies such as toilet paper, soap, paper towels, and other cleaning materials as needed

• Identifying and reporting maintenance issues, broken fixtures, or areas requiring repair to management

• Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment safely and effectively

• Adhering to all health and safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Assisting with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks as assigned

• Maintaining a professional demeanour and representing the organisation positively to all stakeholders
