About the role

We are seeking a Sales Supervisor - Jaro, Leyte to join our team in the Eastern Visayas region on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal management position within our retail and consumer products division, where you will oversee daily sales operations and lead a team of sales associates. As Sales Supervisor, you will be instrumental in driving sales performance, ensuring excellent customer service standards, and implementing company policies and procedures. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on business success whilst developing your leadership capabilities in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

1. Supervise and manage daily sales operations, ensuring the store meets sales targets and operational objectives
2. Lead, motivate and coach a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve individual and team sales goals
3. Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback and conduct regular performance reviews
4. Implement and maintain company policies, procedures and visual merchandising standards throughout the store
5. Handle customer inquiries, complaints and escalations with professionalism and efficiency
6. Manage inventory control, stock rotation and ordering processes to ensure adequate product availability
7. Prepare and submit sales reports, performance metrics and other relevant documentation to management
8. Recruit, train and develop sales staff to ensure a knowledgeable and motivated team
9. Participate in promotional activities and campaigns to drive sales and customer engagement
10. Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming store environment in compliance with health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within retail or consumer products, preferably in retail or similar environments
2. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and team members
4. Demonstrated sales acumen and a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
5. Proficiency in basic computer skills and retail management systems
6. Knowledge of inventory management and stock control practices
7. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
8. Customer service excellence and a customer-focused mindset
9. Problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills
10. Familiarity with direct selling models or experience in the consumer products sector is advantageous
