Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of sales experience, or an advanced degree with 2 years of experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or related clinical sales environments.
• Ability to travel within the Philippines required for territory coverage.
• Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) tools, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed assigned territory revenue objectives through effective account planning, opportunity management, and sales execution.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, procurement stakeholders, distributors, and other key decision-makers within assigned accounts.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities to expand product utilization and grow market share.
• Conduct customer needs assessments and provide product solutions that support clinical and operational objectives.
• Deliver product education, training, and clinical support to customers in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Analyze market conditions, customer trends, and competitive activity to support territory planning and market development initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Marketing, Operations, and Research and Development to communicate customer insights and business needs.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, customer records, and territory activity plans while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards

A Day in the Life

This role supports Medtronic’s sales organization in the Philippines, focused on expanding market presence, increasing product utilization, and strengthening customer partnerships across healthcare institutions. The position collaborates with physicians, surgeons, procurement stakeholders, channel partners, and distributors to support commercial growth and customer success within an assigned territory.

The position requires frequent travel throughout the assigned territory, expected to support customer engagement, account development, clinical education activities, and business growth initiatives.

The Sales Representative II is responsible for driving territory performance through customer engagement, account development, market expansion, and execution of sales strategies. This role serves as a key partner to healthcare customers by identifying opportunities, supporting product adoption, and delivering value through clinical, commercial, and customer-focused activities.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling medical devices within hospital, surgical, or healthcare institution settings.
• Knowledge of healthcare procurement processes, hospital stakeholders, and distribution channel management.
• Experience supporting product education, clinical training, or customer adoption initiatives.
• Strong territory planning, opportunity management, and forecasting capabilities.
• Experience working in a matrixed organization and collaborating with cross-functional business partners.
