Qualifications

About the role

This is a Sales & Technical Assistant position responsible for identifying and acquiring new bakery, commissary, restaurant, hotel, and food manufacturing customers, while providing technical support for Prima Flour products and managing order fulfillment and inventory operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new bakery, commissary, restaurant, hotel, and food manufacturing customers
• Conduct regular customer visits to build and maintain long-term business relationships
• Present and recommend the appropriate Prima Flour products based on each customer's application
• Prepare and submit sales quotations
• Receive and process customer purchase orders
• Achieve monthly sales and customer acquisition targets
• Provide product recommendations for bread, cakes, pastries, pizza, noodles, and other bakery applications
• Assist customers with flour selection and basic baking or formulation concerns
• Coordinate delivery schedules with third-party logistics (3PL) providers
• Oversee the dispatch of customer orders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field
• Experience in flour, bakery ingredients, food ingredients, or B2B foodservice sales is highly preferred
• Background in baking, pastry, or culinary operations
• Strong understanding of bakery products and flour applications
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Organized and capable of managing multiple customer accounts and delivery schedules
• Willing to travel for customer visits
• Proper setup for online meetings with good internet access and laptops/computers
