About the role

GO FRESH SUPERMART is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Personnel to join our team in Ermita, Manila City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales across our supermarket operations. As Sales Personnel, you will be the face of GO FRESH SUPERMART, responsible for assisting customers, processing transactions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience that keeps our customers coming back.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products and making purchasing decisions

• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently to process customer transactions

• Handle cash, card payments, and other payment methods with accuracy and integrity

• Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, ensuring products are well-organised, clearly priced and attractively presented

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the sales floor and customer service areas

• Respond to customer enquiries and resolve complaints professionally and courteously

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and achieve sales targets

• Monitor stock levels and alert management to low inventory items

• Adhere to company policies, procedures and health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with customers

• Numeracy skills and accuracy in handling transactions and cash management

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderately heavy items and perform repetitive tasks

• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellent service

• Ability to work flexibly, including early mornings, evenings and weekend shifts as required

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop within the retail environment

• Willing to work in shifting schedules
