Inside Sales Representative

About the Role

We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to provide day-to-day support for quoting, order management, and account-related activities. This role is responsible for ensuring customer requests are handled accurately and efficiently while maintaining strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has experience in sales or sales support within the information technology industry, is highly detail-oriented, and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The role also requires a strong understanding of internal systems, sales processes, and partner-facing applications.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support & Quoting

• Respond to customer inquiries, requests for quotations, and order processing requirements within established timelines.

• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of assigned accounts, including customer needs, requirements, and expectations.

• Ensure customer requests are addressed accurately, professionally, and in a timely manner.

• Support the preparation, validation, and processing of quotes and orders.

Sales & Operational Support

• Utilize internal tools, systems, processes, and partner-facing applications to support quoting and order management activities.

• Build and validate technical configurations based on customer and account requirements.

• Proactively monitor orders and provide timely updates and detailed reports to relevant stakeholders.

• Coordinate with direct and indirect suppliers to facilitate efficient quoting and order processing.

• Maintain accurate account and order information to support smooth day-to-day operations.

Collaboration & Team Support

• Collaborate with internal teams, technology partners, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and support business objectives.

• Build effective working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer service.

• Contribute to team performance and operational efficiency by proactively identifying and addressing customer or process requirements.

• Assist with onboarding and mentoring new members of the Inside Sales team when needed.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.

• A combination of relevant education, training, and professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience

• At least 2 years of progressive experience in a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of sales or sales support experience within the information technology industry.

• Experience supporting quoting, order management, customer service, or account operations is an advantage.
