POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the company's outbound sales activities by developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing customers, and achieving the company's revenue and profitability goals. The role manages the Sales Team, develops sales strategies, oversees field sales operations, and ensures consistent customer engagement. The Sales Manager collaborates with internal departments to deliver excellent customer service while expanding the company's market presence and driving sustainable business growth.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
I. Business Development and Field Sales
- Develop and implement outbound sales strategies to generate new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.
- Conduct Regular Client Visits, Sales Presentations, and Business Meetings to identify customer needs and promote the company’s products and services.
- Identify market opportunities, industry trends, and potential customers to expand the company’s market share.
II. Sales Team Leadership and Performance Management
- Lead, Coach and motivate the Sales Team to achieve individual and departmental sales objectives.
- Set sales targets, monitor performance, and provide regular coaching and performance feedback.
- Conduct sales meetings, field coaching, and joint client visits to strengthen the team's selling capabilities.
III. Sales Planning and Administration
- Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis for management review.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market developments to identify business opportunities.
- Recommend improvements to sales strategies, product offerings, and customer engagement initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of any Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Management, or any related field.
- At least 5 years of sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial sales role.
- Experience in the electrical, utilities, industrial, construction, manufacturing, distribution, or engineering industry is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing a sales team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems
- Willing to travel extensively for client visits, project sites, and business development activities.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel nationwide, as required.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to secure new business opportunities.
