We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Sales Manager to build and lead our sales organization for a growing Managed Services and B2B solutions company. This role is ideal for a sales leader who enjoys creating structure from the ground up, establishing scalable sales processes, and developing high-performing teams.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing the sales framework, creating a comprehensive sales playbook, and leading the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team through coaching, training, and performance management. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership to drive pipeline growth, improve sales effectiveness, and establish a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
This position requires availability to work a permanent night shift schedule to support international clients and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Process Development
- Design, implement, and continuously improve the company's sales framework and operating model.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive sales playbook, including sales methodologies, messaging, qualification criteria, objection handling, outreach strategies, and best practices.
- Establish standardized sales processes, workflows, KPIs, and reporting metrics to improve consistency and scalability.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define sales goals, territory strategies, and growth initiatives.
- Recommend and implement tools, systems, and automation that improve sales productivity and efficiency.
- Recruit, onboard, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs).
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, role‑playing exercises, and performance reviews to enhance sales skills and effectiveness.
- Foster a high‑performance culture built on accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Create individual development plans and career growth opportunities for team members.
- Monitor team performance against established KPIs and implement improvement plans where needed.
- Oversee outbound prospecting efforts to generate qualified opportunities for the sales pipeline.
- Monitor lead generation activities and ensure SDRs consistently meet activity and conversion targets.
- Analyze sales data and pipeline metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with Marketing, Operations, and Account Management teams to optimize lead quality and customer acquisition.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Develop dashboards and reports that provide visibility into sales performance and pipeline health.
- Present regular performance updates, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Ensure CRM data integrity and adherence to established sales processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 4 years in a sales leadership or management role.
- Proven experience in the Managed Services, IT Services, SaaS, or technology solutions industry is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in building or restructuring sales teams and creating scalable sales processes.
- Experience developing sales playbooks, sales methodologies, and operational frameworks.
- Strong background in mentoring, coaching, and managing Sales Development Representatives or inside sales teams.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Results‑driven with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
- Must be willing and able to work on a permanent night shift schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing sales enablement programs and training initiatives.
- Knowledge of outbound sales strategies, lead generation, and account‑based selling.
- Experience working with international clients, particularly in North America.
- Familiarity with sales performance metrics, forecasting, and pipeline management.

Within the first 6–12 months, the Sales Manager will:
