Overview
The Sales Manager must build and lead a team of salespeople to help drive revenue. Sales managers must motivate their teams to generate leads, build client relationships, set targets to hit their own and the team’s quota or exceed revenue forecasts, and ultimately meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
Supervisory
- Develop sales strategies and plans, in conjunction with the AVP & VP sales to maximize market opportunities
- Train, develop and motivate subordinates to ensure optimum activity
- Assist Project Management Group in client change management, this includes changes in specs, modification of layout after project is closed
- Oversee subordinates and ensure that everyone meets targets and deliverables
Selling
- Achieve monthly and yearly target sales; build high quality sales network and channels in an effective and efficient manner
- Provide assistance and support to account manager, senior account executive and junior account executive to identify new customers and prospects and play lead role in major negotiations and tender submission required
Collection
- Ensures that clients are informed of the terms and conditions, payment terms and policies and customers information sheet-CIS (for new clients)
- Assist in the accounts receivable (AR) follow up that are past 30 days or lapsed client payment term
Administrative
- Prepare reports and documents needed for achievement of sales quota, operational coordination and as required
- Attend meetings as required such as operations meetings requested for coordination of big project closed
- Prepare sales quotations, sales and modification in LN
System Compliance
- Comply with the company policies
- Comply and implement program standards
- Perform other related duties that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of a 4-year related course
- Must have at least 2 years work experience in the same capacity and/or in the same industry
- Must have strong decision making skills with a deep understanding of sales and marketing, with excellent negotiation and the ability to do multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced environment
