Job summary

Josefina Manufacturing Incorporated, behind SO-EN, seeks an Account Development professional in Ortigas, Pasig. You will scout for new clients, identify needs, present products, and secure trade agreements while maintaining brand standards across stores.

The role requires travel outside Metro Manila, weekly site visits, and coordination with accounting on receivables. Monday to Saturday work schedule in Pasig, with focus on growing sales and market opportunities.

Qualifications

• College Degree in Business or related field.
• Sales experience in undergarments/garments industry is highly recommended.
• Analytical skills, Advanced MS Office skills, Negotiation skills, Collection experience, and willingness to travel.
• Willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig (Monday to Saturday).

Responsibilities

• Follow approved itinerary and scout for potential new clients to maximize product reach.
• Identify needs of new clients and present applicable products.
• Discuss features, functions, display, and advantages of products to ensure selling area aligns with company standards.
• Secure complete trade agreements along with accurate customer information to avoid miscommunication.
• Execute sales strategies to achieve targets and suggest adjustments to increase sales.
• Regularly conduct site visits to acquire sales orders and address concerns regarding orders or accounts.
• Inspect stores to ensure brand visuals meet company standards and report non-compliant customers.
• Provide samples of new items to keep customers updated on designs and trends.
• Collaborate with Accounting to address receivable issues and inform management of bad debts or payment discrepancies.
• Negotiate trade agreements to maximize profits and monitor competitors for opportunities and threats.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and customer feedback.
• Attend industry conferences and workshops to stay informed about market developments and innovations.

Job Description:

Account Development

• Follow approved itinerary and scouts for potential new clients to maximize product reach. Present to management new accounts and deliberate.
• Identify the needs of new client and present all applicable products.
• Thoroughly discuss the features, functions, display, and advantages of products to ensure selling area is in line with company standards.
• Secure complete trade agreements along with accurate customer information to avoid future miscommunication.
• Investigate high risk accounts that are selling counterfeit products. Report immediately to management for action.

Account Maintenance

• Executes sales strategies set by management to achieve sales targets. Recommends adjustment or changes that can further increase sales.
• Regularly conducts site visits to acquire sales orders and address any concerns regarding orders or account.
• Inspects stores or branches to ensure visual representation of the brand is in line with company standards. Report to management non-compliant customers.
• Frequently provide samples of new items to assure customers are updated on designs and trends.
• Collaborate with Accounting Department for any receivable issue and advise customers on their financial standing with Josefina. Reports to management all bad debts or payment discrepancies for action.
• Consistently negotiates trade agreements and contracts to maximize profits.
• Monitor the activities of competitors and report any opportunities and threats to management.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and emerging market opportunities.
• Identify and recommend new product opportunities based on market trends and customer feedback.
• Attend relevant industry conferences, seminars, and workshops to stay informed about market developments and innovations.

Travel Requirement

• Identify potential provinces and major cities to penetrate. Create special itinerary for management’s approval.
• Travel outside Metro Manila to conduct all aspects of account development, account maintenance, and market studies.

Qualifications:
