Drive sustainable business growth by developing sales opportunities across a comprehensive portfolio of aftersales services, including maintenance contracts, spare parts, repairs, upgrades, technical solutions, and service agreements. Leverage the organization's brand-agnostic service capabilities to expand market reach, increase recurring revenue, and build long-term customer partnerships while achieving and exceeding sales targets. Additionally, identify and support new equipment sales opportunities to strengthen customer relationships and deliver complete lifecycle solutions.
Responsibilities
- Drive growth of the aftersales business by identifying and closing opportunities for service contracts, maintenance, spare parts, repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and other lifecycle solutions.
- Promote the company's brand-agnostic service capabilities to expand aftermarket business across multi-brand equipment fleets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to generate recurring service revenue and long-term partnerships.
- Manage the aftersales sales cycle, including prospecting, quotations, tenders, commercial proposals, negotiations, order closure, and follow-up to achieve sales targets.
- Ensure all commercial activities comply with company policies, procedures, and approved Levels of Authority (LOA/DOA).
- Collaborate with Service and Operations teams to deliver value-added solutions that improve customer reliability, performance, and asset lifecycle value.
- Monitor orders, invoicing, collections, and customer satisfaction to ensure successful project execution and healthy cash flow.
- Maintain accurate customer, pipeline, and sales records in CRM and other business systems.
- Stay informed of market trends, competitor activities, installed base developments, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Participate in customer visits, presentations, seminars, trade shows, and other business development activities.
- Serve as the company's eyes and ears in the market by identifying potential new equipment requirements, replacement projects, and expansion opportunities.
- Generate and refer qualified new equipment sales leads, supporting the delivery of complete lifecycle solutions and overall business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Electromechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in sales engineering, business development, or technical sales of material handling equipment such as cranes, forklifts, warehouse trucks, racking systems, automated storage solutions, or related industrial equipment.
- Proven track record in selling after-sales services, including preventive maintenance contracts, spare parts, fleet management solutions, and equipment modernization.
- Experience in conducting site surveys, identifying customer operational needs, and proposing cost-effective material handling solutions.
- Strong ability to prepare technical and commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage key customer accounts.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, manufacturing processes, and safety requirements is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
