Job summary

S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a Sales Compensation Analyst (Pipeline Operations & Data Integrity) to ensure end-to-end data integrity of the compensation data platform. You will oversee daily ingestion, run validation checks, and fix data anomalies in close coordination with global stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years of data ops experience, advanced SQL, and automation tooling (Python/Alteryx/VBA).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical experience in data operations, financial systems support, sales compensation analysis, or data pipeline validation.
• Advanced SQL: independently write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries with aggregations and multi-table joins.
• Automation tooling: experience building/maintaining automation scripts using Python (Pandas), Alteryx, or VBA/macros.
• Strong analytical problem solving with attention to detail on large financial datasets.
• Experience creating operational dashboards and reporting data in Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Operational pipeline monitoring & ingestion health: oversee daily data ingestion pipelines across billing systems and CRM feeds.
• Programmatic reconciliation & anomaly eradication: maintain automated Python/Alteryx/SQL reconciliation routines and fix data discrepancies.
• SOPs & controls maintenance: uphold runbooks, SOX data controls, and auditable logs for all processes.
• Reporting, KPI telemetry & regional partner support: publish health scorecards and collaborate with global teams on data defects.
