Terry Selection, Inc. is recruiting for an Institutional Sales role in Metro Manila.
You will develop and manage institutional accounts, negotiate terms, and drive revenue growth across key corporate clients, while coordinating with marketing and store managers to execute promotional plans. The position emphasizes achieving annual sales targets, client relationship management, and adherence to company policies and health & safety standards.
Develop institutional sales accounts through targeting, negotiation, and closing sales.
Ensure achievement of annual sales targets through successful execution of agreed sales strategies.
Perform quality controls and monitor KPIs.
Keep highly focused on the important responsibility of tracking revenues and cash accounts by developing attractive activities not only to keep the loyalty of regular clients but to capture new clients and help the Marketing Department to secure new corporate accounts.
Negotiate with institutional decision makers in agreeing to sales orders and fulfil distribution and delivery terms.
Discuss and implement strategies and tactics in connection to sales goals in accordance with the guidelines agreed with the higher management.
Develops operational plans, policies, and strategy that aligns with the organization’s vision and its current long-term institutional business objectives.
Co‑develop with store managers and marketing department promotional plans throughout the year that would support the business and deliver operational targets.
Coordinate regularly with the Marketing team in creating institutional sell‑in programs.
Monitor and manage Accounts Receivables from the institutional sales accounts.
Adhere, comply, and put practice the values, mission, rules, and policies of the organization in a consistent manner to maintain and instill respect and integrity of the organization.
Take and execute other conditions and responsibilities, delegated by management as necessary in relation to the business operation to maintain a smooth and production operations of the sales organization.
Submit and report inventory forecasts.
Identify slow‑moving and non‑moving items and recommend other selling programs, display formats to deplete them.
Keeps vigilant to Sales and Marketing Goals and on/off‑Premises commercial activities and goals and addresses possible deviations by generating proper and on time decisions.
Ensures all work is carried out in compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
Identify and communicate any sales operation related issues to management promptly.
Collaborate with the marketing department to brainstorm new projects, campaigns, and business ideas.
Produce detailed proposals for events (including timelines, venues, suppliers, staffing, and budgets).
Implement event plans/concepts and develop event feedback surveys.
Initiate sales campaigns to meet sales and promotions expectations.
Negotiate with retail merchants to improve product exposure, such as shelf positioning and advertising.
Identify prospective customers using business directories, leads from existing clients, participation in organisations, or trade show or conference attendance.
Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies or marketing.
Perform cost‑benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
Interpret sales reports and provide guidance on how to improve figures and customer engagement.
Submission of monthly general plan of activity, to be refreshed every Monday or first working day of the week.
Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction.
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
Perform administrative tasks as required such as but not limited to:
Submit management reports regularly such as monthly SWOT/feedback and post‑event reports, expense reports.
Attend management meetings regularly.
Submit plans timeline for client’s visit.
Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
Maintain updated client records.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field like business or marketing is preferred
With experience in B2B Sales
With proven sales experience and strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
With pleasing personality
Willing to do field work.
