Rex Education in Metro Manila is seeking a sales-oriented professional to develop customer plans, promote educational materials, and manage territory activities. You will coordinate events, handle expenses, and drive learning-solution sales while maintaining strong customer relationships.
The role requires a 4-year business degree and at least two years of relevant experience, with excellent communication and negotiation skills to succeed in a competitive educational market.
Develops and implements customer business plans and regularly monitors and reports progress.
Promotes educational materials within the assigned territory, including schools, associations, organizations, and practitioners.
Facilitates and participates in special events within the assigned territory, such as seminars, book fairs, and other promotional activities.
Manages selling expenses within the assigned territory in accordance with the approved annual business plan.
Presents and sells learning solutions to customers using prescribed selling tools and approaches.
Addresses customer concerns and complaints and reports them to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM), particularly when further assistance or intervention is required.
Gathers customer information and market intelligence, anticipates upcoming customer initiatives, and monitors competitors' activities within the assigned territory.
Manages administrative and sales-related expenses and resource allocation within the assigned territory and submits prescribed forms to the RSM for approval.
Prepares and/or issues Sales Order Forms based on customer orders and forwards them to the Branch Supervisor for processing.
Requests examination copies from the Branch Supervisor and ensures their timely delivery to customers.
Prepares and submits prescribed weekly and monthly sales and expense reports to the RSM for review, discussion, and approval.
Facilitates and coordinates the timely pullout of stocks and collection of outstanding accounts receivable with the Branch Supervisor.
Develops and maintains excellent working knowledge of the company's products, services, and learning solutions.
Performs other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in any 4-year business-related course, preferably Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in sales, account management, or a related field.
Strong expertise in customer management and relationship building.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
Knowledge of sales operations and processes.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
