Overview
General Administrative Support and Office Management responsibilities including handling correspondence, filing systems, scheduling, travel arrangements, document preparation, and onboarding support.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
- Maintain office filing systems (physical and digital), ensuring documents are organized and easily accessible.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Monitor office supplies and reorder as necessary.
- Oversee office equipment, ensuring it is in working order and arranging maintenance when required.
- Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, including setup of workstations and training on administrative processes.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or higher in business administration or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, office assistant, or similar role.
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic knowledge of office equipment and technology (printers, phones, computers, etc.).
