Job summary

B2B Automations in the Philippines is seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to implement and monitor Safety and Health Programs across project sites. You will enforce OSHS standards, conduct toolbox meetings, orientations, and regular site inspections to identify hazards.

You will coordinate PPE compliance, respond to incidents, prepare reports with corrective actions, and ensure DOLE compliance. You will work with CTO, engineers, and site staff to maintain safe operations and timely safety

Responsibilities

• Implementation of Safety and Health Programs
• Enforce company safety policies and government-mandated Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS).
• Monitor and ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures at all project sites.
• Facilitate daily toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and safety orientations for workers, subcontractors, and visitors.
• Conduct site-specific safety orientations for new workers and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular inspections of project sites to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe work practices.
• Recommend and ensure corrective actions are taken to eliminate safety risks.
• Monitoring and Enforcement of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use
• Ensure that all employees, subcontractors, and visitors wear appropriate PPE (helmets, vests, gloves, steel-toe shoes, etc.).
• Regularly check the condition and proper use of PPE and safety devices.
• Respond to incidents, accidents, and near-misses; conduct immediate investigations.
• Prepare detailed incident reports with corrective and preventive actions and submit them to management.
• Ensure that all operations comply with DOLE and other regulatory agency requirements.
• Coordinate and assist during regulatory inspections, audits, and other official evaluations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety orientations, toolbox meetings, site inspections, incident reports, and training.
• Submit regular safety performance reports to management.
• Develop, implement, and update emergency preparedness and response plans for the site.
• Conduct regular emergency drills and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Coordinate safety matters with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Project Engineers/Project in Charge, and other site personnel to ensure smooth and safe operations.
• Liaise with clients, government officials, and other stakeholders regarding safety compliance when necessary.
