PEREL INDUSTRIAL CORPORATION is seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to implement and monitor the project's Safety and Health Program on site in San Fernando, Pampanga. The role requires leading safety initiatives, enforcing PPE usage, and coordinating with engineers and subcontractors to maintain a hazard-free environment.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and monitor the project's Safety and Health Program.
• Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe conditions and practices.
• Ensure that all workers wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety orientations.
• Prepare and implement Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and risk assessments.
• Monitor construction activities, including excavation, scaffolding, electrical works, welding, lifting operations, and working at heights.
• Ensure compliance with DOLE safety regulations and applicable OSH standards.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare corresponding reports.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, attendance sheets, and incident documentation.
• Monitor the proper use, storage, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors regarding safety concerns.
• Ensure proper installation and maintenance of safety signages, barricades, warning lights, and fire protection equipment.
• Monitor housekeeping and ensure that work areas are clean and free from hazards.
• Conduct emergency preparedness drills and ensure the availability of first-aid facilities.
• Recommend corrective and preventive actions for identified safety violations.
• Stop or recommend suspension of unsafe work activities that may cause serious injury or accidents.
