Job summary

Philippine Geoanalytics, Inc. is seeking a Safety Officer to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards at project sites.

You will plan, implement, and monitor safety programs to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel. Your role includes preparing safety documents, conducting toolbox talks, coordinating with client safety teams, and reporting safety performance to DOLE as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare safety documents and requirements prior to the start of project implementation.
• Plan daily project activities in accordance with safety guidelines and applicable laws.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings to promote safety awareness among site personnel.
• Develop, implement, and promote occupational safety and health (OSH) programs in the workplace.
• Prepare and maintain site health and safety boards, ensuring proper placement of safety signages in conspicuous locations.
• Coordinate regularly with the client’s Safety Officer or Safety Manager regarding site safety matters.
• Report any safety violations or unsafe practices to the Project Manager.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on safety performance and statistics to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) as required.
