Job summary

Philippine Spring Water Resources, Inc. in Liloan Cebu seeks a dedicated Safety Officer to join our team. You will assist in reviews, risk assessments, and safety management to safeguard health, safety, security, and the environment.

You will maintain EHS logs, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, prepare safety reports, and work with staff to foster a proactive safety culture while building strong relations with managers, employees, clients, and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Health & Safety) or equivalent.
• 6 months to 1-year working experience in manufacturing setting.
• Working knowledge of HSEMS, environmental discharges, incident command system & incident investigation.
• Good analytical, presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support HSE management.
• Maintains relevant EHS logs and documentation.
• Assists in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Prepares applicable safety reports as necessary.
• Provides safety advice to management to make recommendations for improvements.
• Works with employees to achieve cultural change in the face of resistance.
• Maintains positive relations with managers, employees, clients and regulatory agencies.
• Performs other work-related tasks as required.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Officer to join Philippine Spring Water Resources, Inc. in Liloan Cebu.

• Assists in compliance reviews general risk assessment and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety, Security Management

• Maintain relevant EHS logs and documentations

• Assist in compliance of the applicable laws and regulations

• Prepare applicable SAFETY reports as necessary

• Provides assistance and advice on safety issues to make recommendations to facility management

• Ability to work with employees and achieve cultural change in the face of potential resistance

• Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as our clients and regulatory agencies

• Perform other work-related tasks as required

Job Qualifications:
