Job summary

Philippine Spring Water Resources, Inc. in Cagayan de Oro City is seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join our team. You will assist in compliance reviews, risk assessments, and safety documentation to support Health, Safety, Security Management.

Responsibilities include maintaining EHS logs, complying with laws, preparing safety reports, and advising management on safety improvements. The role requires collaboration with staff and regulatory bodies to foster a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Health & Safety) or Nursing or equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year of working experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, Security and Environment Management Systems.
• Experience with Environmental Discharges, Incident Command System and incident investigations.
• Good analytical, presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in compliance reviews, risk assessments and safety assessments.
• Maintain EHS logs and documentation.
• Assist in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Prepare safety reports as necessary.
• Provide advice on safety issues to facility management.
• Work with employees to drive safety culture and handle resistance.
• Maintain relations with managers, employees, clients and regulatory agencies.
• Perform other related tasks as required.
