We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Officer/PCO (Process Control Officer) to join Philippine Spring Water Resources, Inc. in Iloilo City, Iloilo. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, health, and compliance standards across our manufacturing and logistics operations. The Safety Officer/PCO will be responsible for implementing and maintaining comprehensive safety protocols, monitoring process controls, and ensuring all operations meet stringent regulatory requirements. This position is essential to protecting our workforce, maintaining operational integrity, and upholding our commitment to excellence in the manufacturing and transport logistics sector.
Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with local and international regulations
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of manufacturing facilities, equipment, and logistics operations
Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions
Monitor and control production processes to ensure adherence to quality and safety specifications
Provide comprehensive safety training and induction programmes to all employees
Maintain detailed safety records, documentation, and compliance reports
Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation
Identify hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies across all operational areas
Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings to promote a culture of safety awareness
Monitor and report on key safety performance indicators and metrics
Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Support emergency preparedness and disaster response planning
Certification as a Safety Officer or Process Control Officer, or equivalent qualification in occupational health and safety
Sound knowledge of Philippine Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) and relevant regulatory frameworks
Strong understanding of process control systems and quality assurance principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels
Proficiency in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
Proficiency in using safety management software and Microsoft Office applications
Physical capability to conduct regular inspections and walkarounds of operational areas
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining the highest safety standards
A graduate of any Engineering course
