Job summary

Philippine Spring Water Resources, Inc. in Cagayan de Oro City is seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join our team. You will assist in compliance reviews, risk assessments, and safety documentation to support Health, Safety, Security Management.

Responsibilities include maintaining EHS logs, complying with laws, preparing safety reports, and advising management on safety improvements. The role requires collaboration with staff and regulatory bodies to foster a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Health & Safety) or Nursing or equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year of working experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, Security and Environment Management Systems.
• Experience with Environmental Discharges, Incident Command System and incident investigations.
• Good analytical, presentation and communication skills.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Officer to join Philippine Spring Water Resources, Inc. in Cagayan de Oro City.

• Assists in compliance reviews general risk assessment and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety, Security Management

• Maintain relevant EHS logs and documentations

• Assist in compliance of the applicable laws and regulations

• Prepare applicable SAFETY reports as necessary

• Provides assistance and advices on safety issues to make recommendations to facility management

• Ability to work with employees and achieve cultural change in the face of potential resistance

• Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as our clients and regulatory agencies

• Perform other work-related tasks as required

Job Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree on Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Health & Safety), Nursing or equivalent.

• Has 6 months to 1-year working experience in manufacturing setting.

• Has working knowledge in Health, Safety, Security and Environment Management Systems, Environmental Discharges, Incident Command System & Incident Investigation.

• Has good analytical, presentation and communication skills.

• Applicants must be willing to be assigned in Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City.
