Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a on-site Safety Manager for photovoltaic and wind power projects in the Philippines. You will implement OSHS compliance, manage permits, LOTO, working at height, confined space and electrical safety standards, and lead emergency response on site.

You will organize safety training, perform risk assessments, investigate incidents, and prepare standardized safety reports while coordinating with English-speaking teams and field inspectors.

Qualifications

• SO3 certification preferred; SO2 acceptable with project experience.
• Minimum 2 years in safety management within the power sector.
• Familiar with OSHS, work permit system, LOTO, working at height, confined space and electrical safety.
• Able to conduct safety training, risk assessment, incident investigations and report writing.
• Valid Philippine driver's license preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Take charge of on-site safety management for photovoltaic and wind power projects, be familiar with O&M safety requirements of PV modules, inverters, combiner boxes and other power station equipment, and standardize on-site operation behaviors.
2. Implement and comply with Philippine OSHS regulations, master the local work permit system, LOTO procedures, working at height, confined space operation and electrical safety control standards.
3. Independently organize regular safety training, complete on-site risk identification and risk assessment, conduct investigation and analysis of safety incidents, and prepare standardized safety reports.
4. Be responsible for on-site emergency management, master emergency response procedures, first aid skills and fire protection management to ensure effective disposal of on-site emergencies.
5. Conduct daily safety patrols and hidden danger rectification tracking, supervise the implementation of safety systems, and ensure all site construction and O&M work is carried out in compliance with safety specifications.
6. Proficiently use office software to sort out safety documents and data, communicate and coordinate with relevant parties in fluent English to ensure smooth progress of on-site safety work.
7. Cooperate with on-site field work inspection and daily operation support with a valid Philippine driver's license.

Qualifications

1. SO3 certification is preferred. Candidates with rich project experience may be considered with SO2 certification.
2. Minimum 2 years of safety management experience in the power industry; on-site safety management experience in PV plants or wind plants is preferred. familiar with operation & maintenance safety requirements of PV modules, inverters, combiner boxes and other equipment.
3. Familiar with Philippine OSHS, work permit system, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), working at height, confined space and electrical safety control.
4. Able to independently conduct safety training, risk assessment, incident investigation and prepare safety reports.
5. Possess good English communication, reading and writing skills, and proficient in office software.
6. Familiar with emergency response plans, first aid and fire protection management.
7. A valid Philippine driver's license is preferred.
