Qualifications

• Valid Health and Safety certification or equivalent qualification relevant to the construction industry.
• 2–3 years' experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar health and safety role within construction or related sectors.
• Thorough knowledge of Philippine occupational safety and health regulations and standards.
• Strong understanding of construction site hazards and risk management practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with personnel at all levels.
• Proven ability to investigate incidents objectively and document findings accurately.
• Proficiency in record-keeping and report writing.
• Physical capability to conduct regular site inspections and walk-throughs.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating safety risks.
• First Aid certification is highly desirable.
• Experience with safety management systems and software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and hazard assessments to identify potential safety risks and non-compliances
• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
• Provide safety training and inductions to all personnel on site, ensuring understanding of safety protocols and emergency procedures

Atlantica Fire Safety Systems, Inc is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Officer to join our team on a contract basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards across our construction operations in Bulacan, Central Luzon. As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring safety protocols to protect our workforce and maintain a secure working environment. This position is essential to our commitment to operational excellence and the wellbeing of all personnel on site.

Key responsibilities

What we're looking for
