Atlantica Fire Safety Systems, Inc is seeking a dedicated Safety Officer on a contract basis to ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards across construction operations in Bulacan, Central Luzon. The role focuses on developing and monitoring safety protocols to protect workers and maintain a secure site, contributing to operational excellence.

• Valid Health and Safety certification or equivalent qualification relevant to the construction industry.
• 2–3 years' experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar health and safety role within construction or related sectors.
• Thorough knowledge of Philippine occupational safety and health regulations and standards.
• Strong understanding of construction site hazards and risk management practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with personnel at all levels.
• Proven ability to investigate incidents objectively and document findings accurately.
• Proficiency in record-keeping and report writing.
• Physical capability to conduct regular site inspections and walk-throughs.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating safety risks.
• First Aid certification is highly desirable.
• Experience with safety management systems and software is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct regular site inspections and hazard assessments to identify potential safety risks and non-compliances
• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
• Provide safety training and inductions to all personnel on site, ensuring understanding of safety protocols and emergency procedures
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions
• Monitor contractor compliance with safety regulations and standards on construction sites
• Maintain accurate safety records, documentation and reports for regulatory purposes
• Coordinate with management to address safety concerns and implement preventative measures
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings to reinforce safety awareness amongst the workforce
• Liaise with relevant authorities and regulatory bodies regarding safety compliance matters
