Job summary

DOZA Group Inc. is seeking a proactive Safety Officer for a construction/interior fit-out project. You will implement safety rules, conduct inspections, and lead toolbox talks to protect workers and subcontractors on site.

The role requires DOLE-prescribed OSH certification, practical knowledge of permits and incident reporting, and strong communication to coordinate with project teams. On-site presence and adherence to schedules are essential.

Qualifications

• Completed DOLE-prescribed OSH training/certification.
• Experience in construction/renovation/interior fit-out projects preferred.
• Knowledgeable in construction safety procedures, work permits, incident reporting, and safety documentation.
• Proactive, observant, and able to enforce safety rules firmly and professionally.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to work on-site and follow project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce site safety rules and DOLE OSH requirements.
• Conduct daily site inspections and identify unsafe acts/conditions and hazards.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety orientations for workers and subcontractors.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safe work procedures.
• Monitor high-risk activities and ensure safety controls and permits are in place.
• Address and report safety violations and hazardous conditions immediately.
• Maintain safety reports, permits, checklists, and required documentation.
• Document and report accidents, incidents, near misses, and safety violations.
• Monitor housekeeping, barricades, signage, and access routes for site safety.
• Coordinate with PIC/Project Manager, subcontractors, workers, and client safety reps.

SAFETY OFFICER

DOZA Group Inc. is looking for a proactive and hands-on Safety Officer to be assigned to one of our construction / interior fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce site safety rules and applicable DOLE Occupational Safety and Health requirements.

• Conduct daily site inspections and identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards.

• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety orientations for workers and subcontractors.

• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safe work procedures.

• Monitor high-risk activities and ensure required safety controls and permits are in place.

• Immediately address and report safety violations and hazardous conditions.

• Maintain complete and updated safety reports, permits, checklists, and required documentation.

• Document and report accidents, incidents, near misses, and safety violations.

• Monitor housekeeping, barricades, signage, access routes, and overall site safety conditions.

• Coordinate closely with the PIC/Project Manager, subcontractors, workers, and client/CM safety representatives.

Qualifications

• Completed relevant DOLE-prescribed OSH training/certification applicable to the position.

• Experience in construction, renovation, or interior fit-out projects preferred.
