Job summary

DOZA Group Inc. is seeking a proactive Safety Officer for a construction/interior fit-out project. You will implement safety rules, conduct inspections, and lead toolbox talks to protect workers and subcontractors on site.

The role requires DOLE-prescribed OSH certification, practical knowledge of permits and incident reporting, and strong communication to coordinate with project teams. On-site presence and adherence to schedules are essential.

Qualifications

Completed DOLE-prescribed OSH training/certification.
Experience in construction/renovation/interior fit-out projects preferred.
Knowledgeable in construction safety procedures, work permits, incident reporting, and safety documentation.
Proactive, observant, and able to enforce safety rules firmly and professionally.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Willing to work on-site and follow project schedules.

Responsibilities

Implement and enforce site safety rules and DOLE OSH requirements.
Conduct daily site inspections and identify unsafe acts/conditions and hazards.
Conduct toolbox meetings and safety orientations for workers and subcontractors.
Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safe work procedures.
Monitor high-risk activities and ensure safety controls and permits are in place.
Address and report safety violations and hazardous conditions immediately.
Maintain safety reports, permits, checklists, and required documentation.
Document and report accidents, incidents, near misses, and safety violations.
Monitor housekeeping, barricades, signage, and access routes for site safety.
Coordinate with PIC/Project Manager, subcontractors, workers, and client safety reps.
