Job summary

Link Energie is seeking a Safety Engineer to oversee employees' and workers' safety at work and ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines. You will implement EHS policies on site, orient personnel, conduct routine inspections, assess risk, and document incidents.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Engineering, DOLE Certified Safety Officer, 3+ years in construction, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably with a professional license as an Engineer.
• Must be a Certified Safety Officer accredited by DOLE.
• Must have at least 3 years experience as Safety Engineer in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Implement the company’s EHS policies and procedures to ensure safety on-site.
• Orient every personnel on the job site regarding EHS prior to deployment.
• Conduct routine EHS inspections on equipment, workplaces, and hazardous materials.
• Identify and analyze the degree of risk level at the project site.
• Formulate policies on how to prevent and correct measures on identified hazards.
• Investigate accidents, prepare reports, and submit to the EHS committee.
• Prepare root cause analysis on incidents for reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide administrative functions on site supervision on warehousing, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as secretary to the site’s EHS Committee.
• Perform other related functions as assigned.

• Implementthe company’s Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures to ensure that safety has been established on-ste.
• Orient every personnel on the job site regarding EHS prior to deployment.
• Conduct routine EHS inspections on equipment, workplaces, and hazardous materials.
• Identify and analyzethe degree of risk level at the project site.
• Formulate policies on how to prevent and correct measures on identified aspects and hazards.
• Conductinvestigation of accidents, prepares investigation reports, and submits to the site and Head Office EHS Committee.
• Prepare root cause analysis on incidents/accidents, to be included in theaccident investigation reports.
• Ensurecompliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide administrative functions on project site supervision on warehousing, security, and securing of government regulatory requirements.
• Serveas secretary to the site’s EHS Committee.
• Performother related functions that may be assigned within their capability.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the field of Engineering, preferably with a professional license as an Engineer.
• Must be a Certified Safety Officer accredited by DOLE.
• Must have at least 3years experience as Safety Engineer in the construction industry.
• Experienced in formulating policies.
• Strong People Management skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
