Role and Responsibilities

• Site monitoring and reporting observations to the PM/PIC
• Implementation of EHS Manual and Programs
• Review and be familiar with all applicable legislations and standards to ensure compliance
• Lead ERT (Emergency Response Team) and Safety Committee (toolbox meetings)
• Regular posting and updating of Safety and Bulletin Boards (all posting from Safety to HRAD)
• Timekeeping - Proper timekeeping and monitoring of employees’ attendance and work rendered, timely submission of DTR (Daily Time Records) biometrics to payroll team
• Site Security - Ensure guards perform duties to protect the project and report incidents and accidents on site (following Safety and Admin procedures)
• Hiring – Orient employees with company and safety policies in compliance with HR Hiring processes and procedures
• Payroll - Distribute salaries to workers

Documentation

• Timely submission of all Safety and HRAD documents (201 files, contracts, etc.)
• Proper filing and data keeping of all Safety and Admin forms, reports, checklists, logbooks, audit results, permits, certifications, etc.
• Ensure all materials such as manuals and forms are intact and available on site (i.e. EHS Manual, Local Legislations and Regulations, site inspection forms, etc.)
• Housekeeping – Ensure surroundings are clean and do not pose any hazard (site, office, and barracks)
• Compliance with Safety and HRAD procedures; submission of all mandatory reports
• Participate and prepare for site inspections or audits
• Other tasks that may be assigned by the supervisors from time to time

Qualifications

• With work experience, preferably in construction

• Familiar with Safety procedure
• Highly organized, works well with minimal supervision
