Job summary

Five9 Philippines Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer to support activations in a 24/7 SaaS environment. You will assist customers and field personnel, analyze incidents, and implement best security practices while coordinating with architects and engineers.

You will help manage providers, perform capacity planning, and drive operational improvements across data-centre and corporate networks, ensuring reliable service delivery for customers.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in medium to large networks, IP Routing, Switching, and Security principles.

Responsibilities

• Interact with external customers regularly to ensure smooth network activations and to troubleshoot any network connectivity related issues; May require some travel to customer site for escalated issues (10% or less)
• Partner closely with Network Architects and Engineers to improve data-center and corporate network environments
• Initiate multiple projects for Network Operation improvements
• Partner with internal business units to best understand the organization's needs and continuously improve and apply standards for operational excellence
• Review, analyze and execute network change requests
