Job summary
Masergy Philippines Inc. seeks an experienced network engineer to join project teams as an individual contributor, handling activations, migrations, troubleshooting, and the upkeep of designated network areas. You will interface with vendors, engineering and operations to deliver reliable services.
The role is hybrid, based in Ortigas Pasig City with 2 onsite days and 3 days of remote work. Certifications NSE4/NSE7/CCNA/CCNP are encouraged; expect work on BGP/OSPF/EIGRP and cloud services like
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a network engineer in large-scale environments.
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
- Experience with cloud services and network security features.
Responsibilities
- Perform network activations for customers per procedures.
- Support migrations to the Comcast network across products.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP).
- Establish BGP peerings and design routing policies.
- Collaborate with carriers to troubleshoot internet circuits.
- Activate and configure cloud services such as Azure and AWS.
- Deploy and manage FortiGate, Meraki, and Silverpeak devices.
- Maintain documentation and post-activation tracking.
- Keep skills updated; NSE4, NSE7, CCNA, CCNP encouraged.
- Work shifts; nights/weekends as needed in hybrid setup.
