Job summary

GR8 Global is seeking a Transactional Accountant to support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payroll processing across multiple clients. The role includes learning all aspects of the practice through rotational assignments and delivering accurate financials for both nonprofit and for-profit clients, with exposure to the Cannabis industry.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, strong Excel skills, and experience with QuickBooks and Intacct.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent training.
• Experience with payroll, payables, receivables and reconciliation preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks desktop/online, Intacct).
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Perform rotational accounting duties across OAFC areas including AP, AR, Payroll, Reconciliation and Financial Reporting.
• Collaborate with Accounting Manager to set goals for each rotation and deliver results.
• Prepare client invoices and process payments accurately.
• Post payments in client accounting systems and monitor receivables.
• Ensure timely, accurate year-end reporting and regulatory compliance.
