Job summary

General Milling Corporation (Cebu) is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to ensure incoming raw materials and outgoing finished goods are inspected for infestation, olfactory cues, and physical condition. The role includes initiating fumigation and pest-control treatments for infested items.

The candidate will participate in warehouse inspections, focusing on infestation control and sanitation, and will be assigned to the Lapu-Lapu Plant.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Food Technology, Chemistry or allied sciences.
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Can work with minimal supervision.

Job description

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

• Ensures that incoming raw materials of feed mill and from tolling partners are inspected in terms of infestation, olfactory, and physical condition prior to use.

• Ensures that outgoing feed finished goods are inspected for infestation, olfactory, and physical condition prior to load.

• Ensures that all inspected materials have proper dispositions and initiates fumigation and pest control treatment request to those materials that were found to be infested.

• Participate in warehouse inspections specifically for infestation and sanitation.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of B.S. Food Technology, Chemistry, and other allied sciences

• Computer literate (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Good work attitude

• Can work with minimal supervision.
