Job summary

Private Advertiser in Cebu, Philippines is seeking an RMFG-QC Supervisor to lead RMFG-QC Checkers and QA Analysts, supervise schedules, and ensure proper inspection of raw materials, finished goods, and storage vessels for infestation, odor, sanitation, and compliance with food safety standards.

You will maintain QA documentation, support internal audits and root cause analysis, contribute to QMS implementation, and drive continuous improvements in quality control methods while ensuring

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Food Technology, Chemistry, or other allied sciences.
• Experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, preferably in food or feed manufacturing.
• Computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and supervisory skills.
• Good work attitude and attention to detail.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise RMFG-QC Checkers and QA Analysts, including work schedules and task assignments.
• Ensure proper inspection of incoming raw materials, finished goods, and aged feed inventory for infestation, odor, physical condition, and sanitation.
• Ensure delivery vessels, lightening vessels, and floating storage are properly inspected prior to use.
• Document, communicate, and disposition nonconforming materials and inspection findings.
• Initiate fumigation and pest control treatment requests for infested materials.
• Conduct warehouse inspections focusing on infestation and sanitation.
• Maintain complete inspection records and QA documentation.
• Recommend improvements in quality control methods, systems, and practices.
• Assist in internal audits, inspections, non-conformance resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Support the documentation, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Quality, and Occupational Safety and Health policies.
